Our 50th Anniversary
(1964 – 2014)
We are very pleased to announce that 2014 is the 50th anniversary of our foundation.
The aim of the society has been and continues to be safeguarding the architectural and historical fabric of Ramsgate. There have been some disappointments along the way but also many success stories. Notable successes include: the saving of Townley House, Queen’s Court, Glynn’s Clock and of course the 14 promenade shelters.
