The Ramsgate Society Costumed Walks
[ East Cliff Walk | West Cliff Walk | Town Centre Walk | Royal Harbour Walk ] WEST CLIFF WALK (Assembly Point: West Cliff Lift) July 12th at 7.00 pm August 2nd & 30th at 2.30 pm This Walk is of particular interest for its architecture, which includes The Grange and St Augustine's Church, designed by Augustus Pugin. His most famous work is the inside of the Palace of Westminster in London; you may be able to meet him personally. You may meet other personalities of note who worked or resided in Ramsgate, including Mrs Mary Townley, Vincent van Gogh, Wilkie Collins and no less a person than His Majesty King George IV. |
