Member Benefits - each Year you will receive: -
Four issues of The Society magazine ABOUT RAMSGATE (currently a 20 page) publication packed full of items including:
- Ramsgate Society news and activities, civic and general information on the past, (recalling the history of the town); and current events.
- Keeping a watchful eye on and reporting on the fine buildings in the town - (one of The Society's important objectives, i.e. to stimulate public interest in and care for the beauty, history and character of the area of the town and its surroundings).
- Information on dates and venues for forthcoming events in and around the town and Royal Harbour.
Members can also attend: -
- A programme of Society meetings held once a month, from September to May (December Christmas Lunch) - which include interesting talks and/or slide/film shows. Members free (visitors welcome £1.00) Subjects, times and venue advised in a programme issued to members annually.
- Social events and outings.
Subscriptions
New Members: -
Will pay an initial subscription equal to the annual renewal rate (currently £6.00 per member),
this will cover from the period from the date of joining to the next annual renewal date (following April).
If joining on or after 1st January your subscription will cover until April of the following year.
Annual Joint Membership: -
Joint (husband,wife or partners) membership is available at £8.00.
Annual Overseas Members: -
Applicants residing outside the European Union will pay an annual subscription of £10.00 per member. (£ - Sterling Only Please)
Youth Membership: -
£3.00 per member.
Life Membership: -
Available - £60.00 per member / £80.00 Joint.
Renewal Subscriptions: -
All annual renewals become due on April 1st and prompt renewal is always appreciated.
