On 5th August 2011, a group gathered outside the Derby Arms pub on Margate Road, to witness the unveiling of a plaque which marked the birthplace and residence of comedian, writer and presenter Frank Muir.
The society was delighted that the plaque was unveiled by the comedian, writer and radio presenter Jon Holmes.
