If you love Ramsgate and are a local resident, business or residents’ group concerned about the problems of litter and street cleaning in the town, and would like to do something about it, The Ramsgate Society
are organising A BIG CLEAN UP on Sunday 27th May.
We are looking for volunteers of all ages to turn out in force and pick up as much litter as possible between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm on that day. Litter picks, gloves, sacks and brooms will be provided and there will be cake for all at 1.00 pm!
You are invited to a public meeting at KINGS CHURCH, KING STREET Kings Place (behind the Red Lion), Ramsgate 7.30 pm Friday 13th April to launch the event and to have your say in what needs to be done and to find out how you can be involved. All are welcome. We need people who care about their town and are willing to get together to do something about it as a community - and have some fun at the same time.
